Thorsten, born ’68 is a carpenter and doing acrobatics for over 15 years and is a graduate the Circus School “Etage“ in Berlin, Germany.
Jasper Herrmann, born ’76 is an educated teacher and has been doing acrobatics for 15 years and is the organiser of several acrobatic festivals.
Thorsten und Jasper have been working together for four years as the Duo Unwucht. They worked with Slava Kukuskin at the Circus School in Brüssel and with Pascal Angelier from the Lido in Toulouse. They did serveral Clownsworkshops with Gabriel Bandierra and Michelle Dallaire.

Closeness – Adagio/Comedy/Character/Acrobatic Act

‘Closeness‘ is a classic acrobatic, adagio and comedy duo act, where two very opposed characters clash with each other. One is athletic and narcissistic, the other is fat, childish and happy. While they annoy and roll upon each other you get the impression they could be brothers. So you will be really suprised when they suddenly end up in weird positions using highly skilled acrobatic tricks.

Ernst Unwucht – Adagio/Comedy/Character/Acrobatic Act

With their act ‘Ernst Unwucht‘ the duo presents all stereotypes of traditional German gymnastics from the beginning of the last century eg. military marches, moustaches and serious poses, but these are very contradictory to the slapstick you will see on stage.
In between impressive gymnastic exercises apparently the barrel gets more and more out of control. However the duo know how to keep a stiff upper lip and they continue their march into the absurd.
