Swiss circus artist and dancer Diana has a passion for movement and theatre that has taken her around the world. A versatile performer with a background in gymnastics and ballet, Diana graduated from NICA the prestigious circus school in Melbourne. Both as a solo artist and in ensembles she has performed in cruise ships, cabarets and theatre festivals internationally. In Gypsy Girl, a fiery act of forbidden love and Mediterranean temperament, Diana combines powerful Aerial Ring skills with graceful dance moves. Inspired and accompanied by Greek Gypsy music this is a compelling tale of desire and longing. With the ability to swing, circle and spin, the Aerial Ring allows for a broad scope of playful interpretation and has the advantage to be rigged from a single point and may be performed in small and large venues. Walking in the Air is a song written for the 1982 animated film The Snowman. Performing to an ethereal musical interpretation by the band Nightwish, Diana takes you on a flight of forgotten memories and haunting dreams. Diana’s Dance Trapeze is focused on a vigorous, yet lyrical performance. The tops of the trapeze ropes are joined in a single point.
