Lauren began her performance career as a rhythmic gymnast in Australia where she medalled nationally on many occasions. She was fortunate to train with many European professionals including former Junior European Champion and Olympic Finalist Valeria Vatkina and Prima Ballerina’s Viktoriya Titova (Kiev Ballet) and Valentina Pavlova (Bolshoi & Kremlin Ballet Companies).
Following 12 years in gymnastics, it was time to expand her talents to something more daring, burlesque and circus. Her specialty skills include aerial hoop & hammock, hula hoops, adagio and burlesque acts combining dance, contortion and the rhythmic gymnastics apparatus rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon. She also enjoys performing the rhythmic gymnastics apparatus whilst on the aerial hoop such as ribbon, rope and ball which is a unique combination.
Lauren has performed in some of Australia’s most esteemed corporate events, charity balls and fashion shows. She was a popular soloist at Red Bennies Cabaret Club in Melbourne, Australia from 2010-2014. She has also featured in several Australian TV series including Underbelly Squizzy and Winners and Losers.
Lauren and her adagio partner Sidney have been the feature duo act touring with Sexpo Australia since 2013. She also performed a one year season at Draculas Cabaret Theatre Restaurant in their Bloodbath Show as their burlesque aerialist. Most recently, Lauren has been touring Europe with Stage Entertainment Touring Productions as a rhythmic gymnast and aerialist in Ice Age Live. Whether she is ribbon twirling, hula hooping or spinning in the air, Lauren amazes audiences with her flexibility, skill and charm!
Run Away
A graceful and feminine aerial act to an enchanting piece of music “Pretty Face” by Soley. The artistic manipulating of the aerial ring at ground level to begin the piece sets the scene for what is a beautiful and capturing act.
Cabaret Act
A taste of Aerial Ring Broadway style. This act combines stylish choreography with bowler hat, cane & feather bower and dynamic work on the Aerial Ring. When rigging is unavailable this act can also be performed with Hula Hoops instead of Aerial Ring.
Temptation
A beautiful display of strength, flexibility and balance. This male/female duo will move the audience with this beautiful act which tells the story of desire, fate and temptation.
Burlesque Adagio
This Acro Adagio act is a fusion of Burlesque & Circus that will leave you gasping for more. Sidney, the South African who has captivated audiences around the world with his innovative dance style and charm together with bombshell Lauren and her flexible curvaceous moves are an unforgettable duo.
Bond Cage Act
A sexy James Bond inspired act which was created for an M1-6 Her Majesty’s Secret Service Party. This show combines rhythmic gymnastics, burlesque style dance and aerial acrobatics. This show can be adapted with dance choreography for venues which don’t allow aerial. Alternatively more aerial skills can be added in place of the cage for other events.
Aerial Tango Act
You might have seen Tango on the floor but have you seen it in the air! A stylish and sophisticated act involving rhythmic gymnastics ribbon, dance and aerial acrobatics. She begins this act with a top hat and chair enticing the audience before swinging through the air and unleashing her character.
Burlesque Aerial Ring and Ball Act
This sexy and electric act is not for the faint hearted! It combines many of Laurens specialities including Aerial Hoop, Rhythmic Gymnastics Ball Skills & Acrobatics, Burlesque Tease and a unique finale of ball performed on the Aerial Hoop!
Cyd Charisse Tribute
This glamorous burlesque act is a tribute to Cyd Charisse in the 1956 film “Meet me in Las Vegas”. This classic act displays Laurens elegance, athleticism and charisma. It’s a mixture of dance, gymnastics and elements of contortion.
